WIC FAMILIES: Farmers' Market Program
DC WIC Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (FMNP)

Eligible WIC participants can receive $30 in FMNP benefits to use at the farmers’ market.

 

Participants can use FMNP benefits to buy fresh, unprocessed, fruits, vegetables & cut herbs from approved farmers in DC and Prince George's and Montgomery County.

For the 2022 FMNP season, eligible participants will receive their FMNP benefits in the mail in June/July.

FMNP Market Season:

June 1  -  November 30

Eligible Participants:

Prenatal and Postpartum Women
Infants (6-12 months)
Children (1-5 years)

Benefit Amount:

$30 per participant

Produce Plus: Provides produce to participants with $40 in farmers market incentives to spend at participating farmers markets each month (June - Sept). To learn more go to: freshfarm.org/produceplus

Food Resources

Matching Programs: Many farmers market match your WIC/FMNP/SNAP benefits with bonus bucks. Visit the market info table or visit the market's website to learn more.

DC Fresh Match is a unified coalition of farmers markets which match customers’ SNAP benefits dollar-for-dollar. Fresh Match coupons that customers receive can be used at any Fresh Match Markets.
